“Subway, work, sleep”, this famous expression succinctly sums up the daily routine of many modern individuals, immersed in a cycle of monotonous work and constant repetition. This routine, often experienced as alienating, can be compared to a monotonous song sung by "zombie sapiens", human beings who seem almost robotic in their obedience to their professional and social obligations.
The " metro" represents the first act of this daily trilogy, where millions of people flock to crowded urban centers every day to get to work. Crowded subways and commuter trains become human tides where everyone blends into the crowd, letting themselves be carried away by the incessant flow of city life.
“Work” is the heart of this song , where individuals spend most of their day performing tasks that are often routine and have little personal meaning. Between endless meetings, piles of paperwork and tight schedules, creativity and spontaneity often seem stifled by the constraints of the professional world.
Finally, bedtime ends this daily symphony, where individuals return home exhausted from a day's work to rest briefly before starting the cycle again. Sleep becomes a temporary refuge, a short respite before the start of a new day of the same melody.
However, behind this seemingly endless routine, there is often a deep desire for freedom and of meaning, an aspiration to find a balance between the demands of modern life and the needs of the soul. Finding harmony between work demands and personal aspirations can transform this monotonous song into a symphony of life full of meaning and fulfillment.
